Air Domes Pool Enclosures

With the british weather not being very reliable, especially come summer time, you want a way to still be able to use your outdoor pool even if it is chilly. An air dome will answer your problem - its benefits include a longer swimming season, solar heat gain and reduced pool maintenance leaving you more time to enjoy your swimming season.

And when the long awaited summer weather does come, you can remove the air dome in less than two hours and then you will have an open air swimming pool again. With an air dome you can swim when you want to and not when the weather dictates!

How do air domes work?
They are a bit like a big bubble. A small fan blows air in to the dome to keep it up and it is kept down either by a water bag around the bottom or bolted to the ground via a cable around the bottom. The fan uses as much power as a 100 watt light bulb. You get in and out through a zip door.

All air domes are supplied with:

  • air fan unit protected in a weatherproof glass fibre housing, 220/240 volt small fan 0.9 amp. running current, - standard fan approximately 2.0 amp. - large fan approx 3.5 amp
  • all necessary fixings to secure to a suitable foundation
  • zip flap doors for easy access
  • air pressure relief valve
  • carrying hammock/storage sheet
