Water Tube Air Domes

The Waterbag air dome requires a flat stable surface and an area sheltered from high winds. We will manufacture a dome up to a maximum size of 26' x 42' (8m x 13m) - 104m². The water bags/tubes can be fitted and emptied within a short space of time, which allows the pool air dome to be removed or replaced within hours.

The water tube system is designed to fit any flat area and requires no drilling or concrete ring beam. There are sex separate, simple to fill, individual water bags which enable the structure to be installed rapidly with the weight of the water holding the dome in position.

The six water tubes are encased in a reinforced, scuff-proof outer water tube skirt. The weight of the tubes, when filled with water, acts as the anchor to keep the structure in position.

The water filled tubes also act as a seal between the air dome and the pool surround.

The maximum recommended size of a water tube air dome is 26' x 42'.

You can also order a pool dome with standard reinforced bronze tint roof and clear non-reinforced side wall or any other combination of colours if required.
