Cable Air Domes

Cable Type air domes can be manufactured to a maximum size of 10m x 23m - 230m². Once installed, quick release fittings allow the air dome to be removed or replaced within a short space of time. The Cable Type Air Dome requires a good foundation to secure fixings but has the advantage of being suitable for uneven pool surrounds and can even accommodate stepped levels around the pool.

The fixing system consists of a continuous plastic coated steel cable that is pinch welded into a heavy duty reinforced skirt. The structure is secured to the ground by means of eyebolts secured in the pool surround.

The cable is attached to the eyebolts using stainless steel fixings attached to the steel cable. The air seal is effected by a flap around the internal perimeter of the structure.

It is essential that the fixings are secured into an adequate concrete ring beam.

All standard Airdomes up to a size of 130 sq.m. are manufactured with a standard reinforced roof area and non-reinforced side wall area. This adds to the overall strength and stability of the air dome. You can order an air-dome with standard reinforced bronze tint roof and clear non-reinforced side wall or any combination if required.
